How do I start?
Open CringeGuard, start a session and choose which sensor permissions to allow. Keep your phone still while the initial average forms.
Why are some readings missing?
Check microphone permission and, on iPhone, camera permission. Keep the iPhone camera uncovered. Android brightness needs an available light sensor. Missing sensors reduce the available inputs.
Why did measurement stop?
Measurement pauses when the app becomes inactive. Return to CringeGuard and resume the session, or start again if the previous session has ended.
How do I change language or vibration?
Open Settings in the app. Select English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Traditional Chinese or French, and toggle vibration. Haptics require a supported device.
Does a low score mean they like me?
No. The score is an estimate of the surrounding environment, not a prediction of feelings, consent or romantic success.
Is the app available yet?
The app is preparing for release. This website will show official store links when it becomes available.
